Do not underestimate the biohazard.
Welcome, to the first Resident Evil threadplay game. For those who don't know, the world has been infected, and the dead walk.
Years ago the corperation known as Umbrella fought for mainstream dominance in all things medicine and bioweaponry and thanks to thier cut throat care for the world it is now under seige by a plauging virus known as the T-Virus. And re-animating the dead isn't all it does.

This game is played in 12 stages and to get through them will get tougher and tougher as you go along. The premise is pretty simple: Fight your way through the level first presented to you by killing all threats to help you gain experience points enough to fight your final fight of the battle, and level up. Each stage gets tougher with more XP needed to surpass it. This game, like the movies and the actual interactive games are not for the faint of heart, but mostly because you will get frusterated, and then fail.

So here's the gameplan...

Conception 1 - Your Gamplay

Each player has exactly one gameplay which is a thread of thier very own in which you play by rolling specific dices in order. Another player can only go within your gameplay and post when coming to your aid as per your request by pm or however you ask. Aid must be recorded. Along will all of the following feilds:
Example Data Sheet:

Biography: [Character biography, skills or whatever you choose to attribute]
Weapon of Choice: [The single handed weapon you always acquire, chosen at the games beginning]
Status Health: 100/100 [this is the health when you first start and it will depleat as you fail and win

XP: 0/100 [the last number will change depending on which stage you are on, gets bigger the more you go through. As you win battles, you gain XP as described by what you end up fighting]

Records:
Wins:
Losses:

Money: [The number of coins you obtain. This determines what you can but at the Merchant's store]
Aid:
[record here who helped you and with what and how many times. This way you can pay theme back when they need your help.]

Inventory:
Quote :
Items: (Here you must record the items you recieve as well as the state of what items you have such as a weapon. Weapons have a life span and here you must record how you use thier life. Also, wins can act as money to help you buy items which is explained later)

Level Successes:~[This is where you write which lvls you have passed and how many headshots you got. The more headshots the better your rep]

Conception 2 - Weapon of Choice

Your first task after having created a thread with your data sheet as the first post to be manually edited as you go along, is to choose a weapon. This weapon you will use in every battle and will never loose its splendor. But each weapon has its own advantages and disadvantages.
So choose it wisely.

Handgun -
Advantages: It had no disadvantages. The most basic weapon could be one of the best.

Double Machetes -
Advantages: When fighting a MA-39, and recieving the outcome "wounded the leg" gives an automatic win. Since it is a canine of sorts it cannot compete with 3 legs.
Disadvantages: When fighting a lvl 5 or 6 Boss lastly in time to stage up, you cannot "Disorient it", therefore, double XP cannot be gained.

Knife -
Advantages: When fighting a zombie, and recieving the outcome "missed" it is mistaken. Being so close to an apponent when using a knife it is hard to miss. Therefore, you treat teh outcome as rather a "Wounded the leg".
Disadvantages: When fighting a lvl 5 or 6 boss, your dinky knife cannot compete, therefore, when getting an outcome "disoriented it" is actually treated as a "miss" outcome.

Sword -
Advantages: When fighting a Licker, you are easily able to slice off his tounge. So no matter what outcome you get while playing him every one is treated as a "wounded the leg" until you defeat the enemy
Disadvantages: When fighting a lvl 5 or 6 boss, your sword is very easily slapped away. Therefore, you cannot seem to "Disorient it" so, double XP is unattainble.

Shotgun -
Advantages: When fighting a "Las Plagas", a shotgun is an amazing tool because the infection is perpetrated by the head. Therefore, each outcome you get is treated as a "wounded the leg" (even a "defeated enemy") until you get the outcome "headshot", and gain the credit.
Disadvantages: When fight a lvl 5 or 6 boss, it is almost impossible to get good aim because it moves around and thrashes so much. Therefore, "Disorient it" is impossible, double XP not an option.

Conception 3 - The Game

Its all not as overwelming as it may seem, you just need to be careful.
So now the game will be explained, the enemies and what they are worth, as well as the outcomes to obide by.

Mainstream Enemies - There are four main, regular enemies all of different threat level. Higher the threat level the more XP you gain once you win against them. Note: you cannot gain XP for them until you have defeated them completely given the correct ending outcomes.

Quote :
Zombie - threat lvl 1 - 5xp
MA-39 Cerberus - threat lvl 2 - 10xp
Licker - threat lvl 2 - 10xp
Las Plagas - threat lvl 3 - 15xp

Mainstream Outcomes and Health Meanings
You begin with 100% health but won't end on such a note. Outcomes mean things to your life but nothing to your xp.
The outcomes outlined in red mean that they are ending outcomes. They end the battles.
Outcomes in green are outcomes positive to your health, but you must roll again for another attack.
Outcomes in white are indifferent to your health but mean you must roll again for another attack.

Quote :
"Missed" - +0 health - Since you missed your enemy, you must roll again for a another outcome, attacking again

"Wounded the leg" - +2 health - Since this is not an ending outcome, you must roll again for another, attacking again.

"You are hurt" - -25 health - This ends the battle in a loss with -25

"Disoriented it" - +0 health - **If rolled, this outcome doubles the xp worth of the monster you are fighing. So if and when you win, you gain double its orginal xp** after rolling this, roll again until ending outcome. Double XP can only happen once in a battle even if it is rolled more than once

"Critical hit" - +10 health - This shows how good you are at not getting hurt with +10 health

Like a Star @ heaven "Headshot" - +0 health - An ending outcome, one that adds to your reputation and number of headshots made

Like a Star @ heaven "Defeated enemy" - +0 health - An ending outcome with no real benefits

Note: Outcomes marked with a Like a Star @ heaven allow you to an item roll in addition to your winning XP

"Bosses" - These are the enemies you can roll once you have hit the required XP for it. And only when you are ready given the required XP. You roll the die and will get one of five different bosses. These bosses are unlike regular enemies in that they have a health bar just like you. So when you start a fight with a boss they have 100/100 health and as you fight it certain outcomes deal out certain damages. The two outcomes: "headshot" and "defeated enemy" do not apply and when rolled, you need to simple roll again for a different outcome. Here are the baddies:

Quote :
Tyrant - threat lvl 5 - 25xp
Executioner- threat lvl 5 - 25xp
Nemisis- threat lvl 6 - 30xp
El Gigante- threat lvl 4 - 20xp
Bandersnatch- threat lvl 4 - 20xp
and these is the meaning of outcomes when in conbat with these guys:

Quote :
"wounded the leg" - 5 pts damage
"missed" - no damage
"headt shot" - 25 pts damage
"disoriented it" - (if applicable) 10 pts damage
"you are hurt" - -25 health to you, no damage to the boss
"critical hit" - 15pts damage
"defeated the enemy" - roll again.

Conception 4 - Winning, Items and Aid

To win, you simply must try you game at chance and roll your dice in order, at the same time, in the same post [you cannot edit any post because it will change what you roll everytime]

RE enemies+outcomes

You continue to roll until you hit an ending outcome or have the means to use an item required that has the same effect of ending the battle in either a win or loss.
If you should win, you are allowed to rolled the

items

dice, and then are meant to collect it as well as the XP obtained in defeating whatever you did defeat.
You start on stage one and work your way up. Each stage is detailed and tells of XP needed and what your goal is. The goal doesnt exactly mean anything its just part of the story as you play on.
So, when you find you are ready to go to the next stage you must first defeat a "Boss", a difficult thing to do without dying.
Should you die at any time in the game means you must restart fully.

To battle a "Boss" you must roll a

resident evil boss

dice, and then combat with it. As indicated above the combat with a Boss is different than regular combat so you must moniter not only your status and health but also Boss's health bar which depleats with each of the indicated ways to.
Once you have bested a boss, it is time for you to go to the next stage which will come with extended XP and when you endeavor the stage you keep your current XP and continue to get better and follow through the next stage until the twelth in which you are privelege enough to fight the worse boss of all...
which is kept secret until you come into his path...

Items for Aquisition

When you win and are able to roll an item die, these are the possible items you are chancing to get:

Quote :
Herb - worth +25 health
Hand grenade - Ends a battle with a win but -10 health to you from the blast /When in "Boss" combat it delivers -25 health to Boss
Flash grenade - Simply ends the battle if it gets to rough, but is no win or loss/ When in "Boss" combat it delivers -10 health to Boss
Coins - **amount of coins is subjective to the threat lvl of the enemy. so, when rolled, you must account for the lvl of your enemy** lvl 1 - 10 coins, lvl 2 - 20 coins, lvl 3 - 30 coins, lvl 4 - 40 coins, lvl 5 - 50 coins, lvl 6 - 60 coins

~Other items are available for purchases with coins at the Merchant's Hut~

~Aid~
Aid is a nice thing to have. Say you need a herb, want a grenade to buy?
Calling on aid is what you can do but it must recorded so that you can pay the friend back later, also it gives credit to them for your successes.

Conception 5 - The Fun
Have fun! It looks hella hard but as long as you pay attention to the advanatages and disadvantages of your chosen weapon, record everything and known the rules then it'll be frusterating, amazing fun~
